Tell me where we’d be
If it was up to you we’d still be
Dying in the trees
But it's supposed to be the land of the free
Fore fathers bathed in blood
To pave the way of this world
We call free
Freedom is what you’re after
A puppet with no master
I know media deceives
Pinch me
What about Benghazi
The old ways behind me
Stops our prosperity
How are are we supposed to grow
In a land that will never truly know
Prosperity’s lost
In a world that’s fueled by the cross
We need to stabilize ourselves
There is no more truth here
I have every right to be confused
So of course I am confused
Ridden by a country
And constantly abused
Why do I feel a sense of emptiness
To the power of a scapegoat
The king and queen of insolence
Have finally made their throne
So with what I’m given of course I'll be confused
Dying for my country but constantly abused
We stole this land
United signals of fraud
We send our children to war
And turn our families to bombs
Tell me do the heads of your precious voters
Amount to enough?
I know we’re good for more
Our families killed in the name of war
Single file take your pick
Presidential bullshit fucking makes me sick
I fucking hate this place
Our country’s changed
I fucking hate this place
They will never make us great
So I guess what I’m trying to say is
Fuck Donald Trump
Fuck Hillary
Fuck Donald Trump
Fuck Hillary
Jordan Vauvert
Two death metal legends unite for a once-in-a-lifetime LP; rife with classic appeal and flavor, it's a manifesto that works in any era. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 11, 2017
I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
